We advised Sustain, the alliance for better food and farming, on the barriers to supply of local food into London hospitals. We interviewed procurement managers, suppliers and intermediaries, and made recommendations on the barriers and on practical ways to overcome them.

Defra asked us to investigate concerns that a shortage was impending in the supply of large animal vets. We interviewed veterinary surgeons, colleges and students, identified the reasons why younger vets tended to give up large animal practice, and made recommendations for the better management of veterinary practices.
